My name is Michael Dozier.
We are a small family owned business catering to motorcyclist touring through the Cherohala Skyway and Deals Gap / "Tail of the Dragon" area. I've been making Tellico Plains my destination ride since 1986. When I met Cherie eight years ago; we rode up on my Cagiva Gran Canyon on holiday. It rained every day. We were wet. Maybe a little cold. It was fantastic. So we got married! We've been motorcycle vacationing in the area for the past seven years. In 2006, Cherie actually recommended that we quit our jobs & sell our house (in Florida) to move here. Wow! I couldn't believe it! So we did.
The shop carries clothing and gear for the motorcycle traveler. I try to stock gear that performs; &, is a good value for price. Stuff that keeps you comfortable and safe. No bike sales, parts department, or service bay. Just a small shop with stuffed with water proof Olympia Synthetic clothing, dry bags/pouches , water proof gloves, water proof boots, rain gear, Wolfman soft luggage, and assorted tidbits. Oh, and T-shirts. While we may not have every item in every size, there is an extensive offering of sizes from small to 3x. Sometimes I even have 4x's on the racks.
If you're on the road and need something, stop by. If you're a local and are frustrated by the lack of touring gear and size selection at your local dealer, ride over and check us out. Bring your bike. You may need to sit on it while trying on an Olympia Jacket or Pants.
Besides, the Cherohala Skyway is always a great ride and you can have breakfast / lunch / dinner in downtown Tellico Plains.
